In most cases, DeltaV SIS™ will connect to either 4 - 20 mAanalog signal devices or discrete I/O devices rated at up to500 mA per channel. However, there will be some outputsignals that require higher currents and in some applicationsnon-incendive outputs are required. For applications thatsimply need high current, the DeltaV solution offers the VS6907 SISRelay module. For applications where the current to the finaldevice needs to be limited for non-incendive ratings, there isthe current limiter module. Using the RC compensator moduleensures that the monitoring of field wiring is performedcorrectly when using inductive loads. Using the SLS End ofLine module ensures that monitoring of field wiring isperformed correctly when using discrete switches.
