The AAP135-S00 S2 module is designed to receive contact ON/OFF signals, voltage pulses, and current pulses. It provides isolation between the field and the system, as well as between each channel, ensuring safe and reliable operation. This module can also be configured in a dual-redundant setup for enhanced system reliability.

The module can handle dry contact pulse input signals (e.g., from mechanical relays) with a frequency of up to 10 Hz, and it features chatter elimination for such signals. The input frequency for non-voltage contact signals (between terminals B and C) ranges from 0 to 800 Hz.

For connecting cables, the withstanding voltage of the MIL connector cable is determined by the electrical specifications of the cable used.
