Functional Description
129478-01 is a DC Power Input Module developed by Bently Nevada. It is a half-height module that must be installed in designated slots on the rack's left side. The rack houses one or two power supplies that can be AC or DC. A full rack can be powered by either supply.

Features
High Voltage DC: This option utilizes the High Voltage DC Power Supply and the High Voltage DC Power Input Module (PIM) to perform a specific function. This option is designed to operate within a specific voltage range and provides protection against voltage variations to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Input voltage: The input voltage for this option ranges from 88 to 140 Vdc. This means that the power supply and the PIM can accept a direct current (DC) input within this voltage range to function correctly.
Out of Range Protection: To safeguard the power supply and the PIM, an under-voltage within the specified range does not cause any harm. However, if the input voltage exceeds the upper limit, an over-voltage condition occurs. In such cases, a protective measure is implemented to prevent damage to the components. Typically, this protection involves the opening of a fuse on the PIM, effectively interrupting the circuit and preventing excessive voltage from reaching the system.
Front Panel LED: The front panel of the power supply is equipped with an LED (Light Emitting Diode) that serves as an indicator of the operating status. When the power supply is functioning properly, the LED illuminates, providing a visual confirmation of the system's operational state. This LED serves as a convenient means for users to quickly determine if the power supply is operating as expected.
